Celebrating Culture, Community, and Independence

There’s nothing quite like connecting with our customers face-to-face. Earlier this month, on a gorgeous Saturday morning, we had the joy of doing just that. We packed up our handcrafted products, loaded the tent into the car, grabbed our shades, and made our way to the beach.

As the sun lit up Carson Beach in Boston, we joined the Jamaican Association of Massachusetts to celebrate Jamaica’s 63rd Independence Day. The atmosphere was electric—filled with live music, delicious food, and, most importantly, community.

For ANNIKA PURE, it was a gift to see so many beautiful faces and engage with both loyal fans and curious new customers.

From Comments to Commitment: Our Takeaways

The best part of in-person events is the surprise factor—each one brings new faces, new questions, and fresh inspiration. Events are also opportunities to learn. At a previous gathering, we realized how many men were asking for beard oil, which we hadn’t brought. This time, we came prepared—and sure enough, our Blackberry Teakwood Beard Oil completely sold out.

Other customer favorites included our African Violet Body Butter Cream (another sell-out!) and our Botanical Infused Body Oils in Pearberry, Glowing Amber, and African Violet. With a base of sunflower seed oil infused with calendula, chamomile flowers, and rose petals, our body oils left customers glowing with hydration and radiant summertime shine.

An honorable mention goes to our Hair Serum, available in Blackberry Teakwood, Herbal Blend, and Fragrance Free. Loved for its ability to smooth frizz, protect from damage, and promote scalp health, it caught plenty of attention too.
