A Weekend of Small Batch Production, Community, and What’s Next
There’s a kind of magic that happens when you're face-to-face with the people who use your products. You notice what makes them pause, what excites them, what questions they ask—and what they come back for. This past weekend, with two very different events packed into two full days, we were reminded why we do this the way we do.
Yes, it was tiring. And yes, we ran out of products. But more than anything, it was affirming.
Our commitment to intentional production methods—particularly small-batch production, where each product is made with care and transparency—showed up in every conversation. People weren’t just shopping; they were choosing. Asking. Telling us what mattered to them. And because we’re close to every step of the process, we could talk honestly about ingredients, routines, and how we make sure product quality stays at the center of everything we offer.
This wasn’t just a weekend of markets. It was a weekend of learning, listening, and recommitting to the values that shape ANNIKA PURE.
From Conversations to Sellouts: What We Learned
Over the course of two back-to-back events—a women’s gathering on Saturday and the Seaport Pop-Up on Sunday—we had the chance to connect with an incredible mix of people. Some came looking for longtime favorites, others wandered over just to smell something new. A few even said they’d heard about us and came specifically to find ANNIKA PURE.
What stood out most wasn’t just the product demand (though yes, we did sell out of both our Radiance Toner and Niacinamide Serum). It was the quality of the conversations.
People were curious. They asked thoughtful questions. They gave honest feedback. They shared their skin stories and walked away excited to try something new—especially once they saw our updated skincare routine signage, which made it easier to understand how the full system works together.
We saw firsthand that customer expectations are evolving. More and more people are looking for clean, intentional products from brands they can trust—and they want to understand what they're putting on their skin. That includes younger buyers and skincare beginners, who represent a growing share of the crowd.
These events reminded us that we don’t need to appeal to everyone. We’re speaking to a niche market—people who value transparency, plant-based ingredients, and the beauty of small-batch care. And when you find the right people, they show up—and they share.

Why Small Batch Manufacturing Matters
At ANNIKA PURE, small batch manufacturing isn’t just how we produce our products—it’s a mindset. It’s how we stay close to the raw materials, keep a steady hand on quality control, and deliver skincare that feels thoughtful, personal, and fresh.
This weekend was proof of why that approach still matters.
We didn’t just sell out of a few favorites—we saw firsthand how quickly production volume can shift when interest grows. That kind of spike doesn’t scare us. It excites us. Because instead of scaling in ways that compromise what we stand for, we double down on what works: smaller production runs, made with care, and restocked by hand.
There’s no assembly line here. No mass production. Each product goes through a production process that’s built on intention—blending oils, pouring scrubs, applying labels, and checking texture, scent, and quality one batch at a time.
Yes, that takes more time. But that’s how we ensure you’re getting quality products, not just packaged ones.
Small batch production lets us pivot quickly, adjust recipes based on seasonal needs or real-time feedback, and respond to demand with creativity—not compromise.
And we think that kind of responsiveness—human, honest, handmade—is something worth holding onto.
When Feedback Sparks What Comes Next
One of the best parts of in-person markets is the immediate, meaningful customer feedback. You get to hear what people love, what they’re missing, and what they’re hoping you’ll make next. That feedback doesn’t sit on a notepad—it shapes what we do.
This weekend, it led to something unexpected: conversations with several men who were looking for personalized products—and came specifically asking for our beard oil. (Spoiler: we hadn’t brought any.) Their interest, combined with conversations around scents and skincare, inspired a fresh idea we’re already working on: a limited-edition Father’s Day collection.
We're envisioning a kit that includes:
-
A manly-scented body oil (clean, grounding, and fresh)
-
A return of our popular beard oil
-
A shave cream
-
A massage soap or exfoliating add-on
This will be a true limited quantity release—crafted with the same attention to detail as everything else we make, but created specifically in response to the voices we heard this weekend.
And it’s not just the men we’re listening to.
We had requests for the return of seasonal aromatic sprays, and we’re planning to bring back a few favorites —perfect for summer spaces or gifting moments.
This is what makes small batch feel big: the ability to listen, respond, and create something just for you.
